“Farm & Friends Go Green”

Durst Organic attended “Farm & Friends Go Green” to promote Organic Farm Connections to families in the California community. Whole Foods helped to sponsor this Saturday event at the Fairytale town Park.  Deb Audrey & Lauren Perdue represented the farm with a booth table containing information and activities about Asparagus and Durst Organic Growers.  An Asparagus wagon with an Asparagus cutter gave guests an idea of what Asparagus looks like in the Harvest season and the kids were able to dig up some spears.  Adults asked lots of questions about tours, farm and asparagus.  Children enjoyed color pages, stickers, Asparagus boxes and the 20ft long root rope.
