The Day in the Country event was held at Taber Ranch in the Capay
Valley on Sunday September 8th. A nice breeze and shade made this a perfect day for this
event. We decided to let the food showcase itself by cutting fresh Red Seedless Watermelon and served Cherry Tomatoes on skewers. For a special treat we also marinated some
Mini Charms in a Jalapeno/Garlic vinaigrette on toothpick skewers. YUM!
