We celebrated the holiday as a group on the Sacramento River Train in Woodland. Durst employees and their families were invited to ride the Christmas train in December courtesy of Jim & Deborah Durst. The 90 minute ride included a simple meal, fabulous music, a Christmas story read by elves, cocoa & cookies and the "Big Red" himself! (No not a tomato... SANTA!) Who greeted each child with twinkling eyes and a Cherry "tomato" red nose. It was a wonderful way to gather with our Farm and Families to say "Merry Christmas" and spread the harvest of good cheer that always seems to be growing around this time of year! After riding the train and experiencing the Joy with our own families... All of us at Durst Organic Growers would like to wish you the very best that the Christmas season has to offer and hope for a bountiful 2011!
