Do you buy Organic Milk? Of course we know that Milk comes from a cow but here's a fact you may not know... Organic milk is defined by the USDA as milk from cows that have been exclusively fed organic feed. We are proud to announce that 160 Acres of Barley at Durst Organic Growers were harvested in 2011 and sold to Organic Dairies for Cattle Feed. Although studies have shown that Regular and Organic milk are equally nutritious, it's good to know that even the cows are eating Organically, avoiding pesticides, and able to provide us with healthy alternatives as well!
