17 Students from the Japanese Agricultural Training Program visited the farm on August 22. Jim Durst led a tour of the fields cutting melons to taste at various stops. Our guests also toured the packing house and cooler to see the harvested products. The objective of the visit was to educate and inform on topics of farm operations, management & marketing strategies. Juliet Braslow, a Double Masters Student in International Development and Horticulture Agronomy at UC Davis coordinates and teaches the Vegetable Production Course that hosts these international visitors.
