Tis the season for windy days, fall leaves and Pumpkins!
Lots & Lots of pumpkins...
Each year there is a special patch grown here at Durst Organic to serve the children of Esparto and nearby communities with a day of filled with fun, fresh air, activity and of course a pumpkin or two! What better way to get outside and learn about where fresh food comes
from. Several groups came from the Esparto & Winters R.I.S.E. programs and also the Woodland Parks and Recreation After-school Fun Club. Kids ranging from pre-school to 8th grade participated in pumpkin & cherry tomato harvesting, a hay ride, crafts, and games of Squash
Tic-tac-toe and Butternut bowling.
