Yes It's that Time Again... Although the weather has been a bit finicky, the Asparagus on our farm just can't help but peek their yummy heads up out of the soil to join in on the spring harvest party! Helping them on their way are the great people who come every year from the FLC to help harvest, pack and ship these tasty spears from our farm to your table. Another exciting and new addition to the process is our new Asparagus Packing Machine, custom built by our Crew here at Durst Organic Growers. Over the winter months our dedicated employees researched, brainstormed, designed and created this efficient new packing marvel! When we asked Carlos Vargas (a member of the Team) about the accomplishment, he told us that everyone used their own skills and talents working together to problem-solve, innovate and execute the master plan. Another fine example of the way things work together on this Farm bringing the best from the BEST to your table.
